What's SVN Version?

SVN stands "for Subversion". Its a method for the developers to build up the Sauerbraten Project. The "Normal Users" can look up the newest ideas or can search for bugs in it.

How can I Download the SVN Version?

You need a Application for this. I use SmartSVN http://www.syntevo.com/smartsvn/download.html

NOTE

The guide is for SmartSVN but you can also use another application for that. We notice that some browsers don't show the pictures in right format so that you can't read them. If this happends, use right-klick open-picture so you can see the picturere in the full size.



Click - Project-Check OUT

Click Manage





Click Add

Click Enter SVN URL





Type https://sauerbraten.svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/sauerbraten

Click Next





Click Next

Click Accept





Click Finish

Click OK





Click Next

Click Next





Click Check OUT

Now you have to a local Folder for the SVN, after this Click Next





Click Next

Click Finish





This can now take 20 Mins, but after that you can update it every time very easy when you click this button
